These guys trust in jazzy beats and funky chunk - and lard.
The musicians are active in many different projects so Fat Beat Sound System has become a sofa, a resting place for the members. This you can definitely hear on the debut album “Fala Fala”.
The group has released the highly acclaimed “Quality E.P.”(2002) on Tiger Records and the “Baba Sheriff/Fala Fala” in December 2004. From this vinyl “Baba Sheriff” got playlisted by Finnish national radio YLEX and “Fala Fala” was charted by BiggaBush (ex-Rockers Hi Fi).
This is a live band. The songs are usually conceived by the whole group, which is why the sound is so organic. And remember, the fatter the safer!
