“An anarchistic blend of drum'n'bass and trance, spiced up with devil-may-care humour, is the recipe for Finnish Koneveljet's far out and moving party music. Koneveljet, which means "Brothers in Machine", was started in 1996 as an ambient ensemble, but after a while they started wearing white coats when they went on stage, and to expand the music with more and bigger beats, which made the dance floors boil in the alternative clubs in Finland's capital Helsinki. Koneveljet really tries to add to the electronic music something of the unpredictable nature of live performances, and their music is loosely structured to make room for improvisations with harmonies, melodies and beats.” Morten Schwarz / Lausten / Denmark
Koneveljet’s single “Damn / Welkom” was in Spring 2005 for 11 weeks on YLEx (Finnish Public/CHR Radio). Their long awaited album “Hoax” hit the streets. The album contains the song “Sleepwalk” made in collaboration with Father Metro (Tommy Lindgren) of Don Johnson Big Band.
