This CD features artists who have performed at Helium, a monthly club showcasing new talents in the fields of experimental electronic music and visuals.
The choice of music on the compilation reflects the varied styles of the more than 30 acts that performed at Helium during 1999. The music ranges from drum ´n` space to ambient.

Transparents have achieved cult status through their frequent gigging in Helsinki during the last five years. Katharsis features Tapani Rinne, from the electronic jazz band Rinneradio, on dreamy saxophone. A video is available for this track.

Koneveljet are known for their humorous live gigs that even include an aerobic workout! Their performance at Roskilde festival in 2000 was a favourite of the critics. Their debut album Koneveljet-Brothers In Machine is now available from Exogenic Records.

Brothom States have released two albums on the net in MP3 format as well as a vinyl EP on Exogenic Records. Their Lo-fi electro sound is best described as Mother Nature meets iron works.
