Headphonics will release the first digisingle from the upcoming debut double album Evolution Of Funk. Sprudel Wasser digirelease will contain also a “b-side”, Corrupt & Immoral Live track.

Sprudel Wasser is a sparkling arrangement of massive breaks with kicking drums and crispy sounds. Corrupt & Immoral offers more funky side of Headphonics without forgetting the breaks edge for the dance floor.

Headphonics is a project originally put up by Make Louhio and Tommi Sirkiä. Group includes also Tuukka Mielonen aka dj Mel-3 as a turntablist and Vesa Pasanen on guitar. Headphonics is a blend of underground and mainstream, taking inspiration from old movie soundtracks, classic 70s funk, comics, house, breaks, drum and bass and hip hop. Louhio and Sirkiä wanted to make a tribute to old traditions and to good old ways of making music without forgetting the more unconventional producing methods.

Headphonics has had previously two releases, the first one being Protect! EP, which came out in January last year. The next one, Tommi H – Kaikki Tai Ei Mitään Headphonics remix was released in digital format only in September last year. The track was several weeks on the listeners top ten on Finland’s only electronic music radio station Bassoradio.
